Full description
Jungfraujoch Top of Europe is the best place in Europe to discover a world of snow and ice. The cogwheel railway travels to Europe’s highest railway station every day of the year. The view and adventure platform at 3454 meters above sea level unites in a place that fascinates people of the Alps: a majestic backdrop of ice, snow and rock with breathtaking far-sightedness. You can exchange the voucher for a ticket at Interlaken Ost, Jungfraujoch or Lauterbrunnen train stations or travel the other way around. The train departs every 30 minutes and the departure time is freely selectable. Once at the top, simply follow the signs to the tour and you will not miss any highlights. To do the tour it takes you aproximately 1 to 2 hours. There are also restaurants on the Top of Europe and even a Snow Fun Park in summer, so calculate 6 to 8 hours for the whole trip.

Redeeming my voucher was very simple! I went to the Interlaken Ost train station and inside the office they take your voucher and exchange for your Jungfraujoch ticket plus a map/“passport.” The Jungfraujoch is definitely worth going to the top!! It’s an incredible experience. Please, be very very hydrated beforehand and take lots of water with you. I would also suggest seat reservations in the summer and when we get to the Eiger train, take the second one and not the first train, let yourself climatize before you head up. I will definitely be using GetYourGuide in the future for activities!

Participated from Interlaken. Thanks to the gondola "EIGER EXPRESS" made in December 2021, transfers are smooth, and you can reach Jungfraujoch station via Grindelwald in a short time. After arriving at Jungfraujoch, follow the "TOUR" route sign and you will be able to go sightseeing. The ice-covered "ICE PALACE" and the "PLATEAU" where you can go outside and trample the snow are a masterpiece! It was the best Jungfraujoch because of the good weather and no influence of altitude sickness.

A great day up the mountain with food at the top, drinks at the ski outside bars at the top of the slops and amazing views and attractions at the top of Europe. Watches purchased at the highest watch shop in Europe. The experience is something my kids will never forget. All the history of how this railway was built is just stunning.
