What people are saying about Iquitos

Green House Tambopata is a gem in the jungle. It's not deep in the jungle, but that makes it easily accessible and also since the rooms have giant mosquito nets as windows, you really feel that you are in the jungle, syrrounded by nature. We could also spot somw sloths and monkeys right next to the lodge on the night walk. Overall, the tours were great (not in the same order aa described here because they adapted to the weather to make sure we get the best experience). Charly, the owner, is an awesome guy with tons of knowledge about the area and his concept of building this lodge together with locals and educating lical guides for the tours is well worth supporting. Also, you get the best insights from locals! Would definitely recommend this experience! Also communication with Charly via WhatsApp was very seamless and he was quick to respond to any questions and keep us up to date about our tours for the day.

Had a wonderful trip. It was not a luxury resort but very clean and food was wholesome. We were kept busy through out the day with activities. Electricity was only for three hours in the evening- just about enough time to get our phones charged. The staff and guides were very helpful - though the language was a bit of a problem. However it was an adventurous trip and I thoughrly enjoyed myself

Being that we were in the Amazon Jungle accommodations were great. Guide was knowledgeable & always helpful. I am not a picky eater so, I thought the food was great & plentiful. It was truly an unforgettable adventure. The tribes, monkey island, butterfly garden and getting to meet the locals was a wonderful experience + we did get a glimpse of dolphins…. Come prepared and you shall be fine!

Sincerely, the Yakumama Amazon Tour team is superb. The Harley guide is someone invested, pationné and considerate. What kindness! As well as his boat mates! Do not hesitate to report your diets as soon as you meet at the meeting place. Everything is perfect and the lodge neat. Thanks to the whole team. Cheer.

I went on this tour with my mother and father and we had a great time! Our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. The activities were very well organised and the accommodation was comfortable and clean with very tasty meals every day. Would highly recommend this tour.
