Start your trip with pickup directly from your chosen hotel or pickup point, and then make your way by air-conditioned vehicle to Sultan Ahmet Square. Skip the long lines to Hagia Sophia, built on the site of an earlier church under the orders of Emperor Justinian I. Learn how it became the largest cathedral in the world and was later converted to a mosque during the Ottoman Empire. Continue to the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, commonly known as the Blue Mosque, and see the blue Iznik tiles and minarets of the city's most iconic attraction. Learn more about the former arena of the Byzantine Empire at the ruins of the Hippodrome of Constantinople.

Round off your trip at the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest covered markets in the world with more than 60 streets and 5000 shops. Stop into an authentic oriental atmosphere and see all kinds of gifts, leather clothing, rugs, antiques, jewelry, hand-woven fabrics, and more.

This tour exceeded our expectations. Baris our guide, was very knowledgeable regarding the history behind the places we visited as well as places where to buy stuff at the grand bazaar (regardless you still have to take the time to bargain at these places). With the cruise line I would’ve had to pay 4 times what I paid with Get Your Guide. Totally worth it!!!

Guide talked fast and a lot so it was hard to keep up. Too bad we could not see so much of the blue mosque due to renovation .. Sad to take so much time at "leather shop and carpets etc." if you are not interested in this or do not appear in the booking. Otherwise a nice trip.

Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to see so many things. Ladies, don’t forget a scarf to wrap on your head, although there are plenty of places to buy one on your walk. We only had trouble at the end because of traffic. Traffic is horrible. I recommend that if you’re not very far to walk to your hotel afterwards then do that. The traffic took us 2 hours to go a very short distance.
