A wonderful visit to the olive grove of Aires de Jaen. Our host Jóse, who speaks English very well, told us about olive cultivation, harvesting and the factors affecting quality. We learned about the history of the farm and the ecological production process. Tasting the olives gave an idea of the considerable differences between different qualities and varieties. Thanks to Jóse for an interesting and friendly tour.

Our guide, José, a fourth generation worker in this family business was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and generous with his time. We were lucky enough to be traveling at the time of olive harvest and saw the process up close. We learned so much and enjoyed the tasting - thank you Aires de Jaén!
