Upon your arrival at Jaisalmer airport, Jaisalmer railway station or bus station, you will be greeted by your driver depending on the time chosen at booking. You also have the option to be picked up from your hotel in Jaisalmer. From here you will begin your 5-hour sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer city. Your first stop will be the Jaisalmer Fort, which is famously known as the Golden Fort of Rajasthan. It was constructed by Raja Jaisal, a Rajput ruler in 1156 A.D. and ranks among the largest forts in the world. The golden and yellow mixed sandstone give the fort a magical appearance, and the fort towers high above the sand. It features 99 turrets and displays Rajasthani architecture, which is a spectacular sight especially in the night. Later, you will visit Patwon Ki Haveli, the Thar Heritage Museum and Gadisar Lake. After your tour, you will be dropped off at either Jaisalmer Airport, the Jaisalmer Junction Railway Station, bus station, or your hotel in Jaisalmer.
