I always look for small group walking tours as I find them more educational. Plus you tend to see things that most people overlook or don’t know about because it’s not considered a “high point.” Al was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and took us through all these little alleys to so many points that were on my list that I was able to check them off! He also gave great restaurant recommendations to get the seasons current delicacy of she crab soup and soft shell crabs! Thanks Al for a very educational and fun walking tour.

Al was extremely knowledgeable, being a seventh generation Charlestonian. He could go in many different directions depending on the interests of the group. He presented a very balanced view on sensitive, political issues. We enjoyed his sense of humor. It was a great experience!

Very informative. Eric ( I think) hired by Al to take us around Charleston. Has a history degree, answered any questions put to him. Don’t hesitate to book this tour.

Geordie was an amazing story teller, who is quick witted as well as he is informed. A type of man I would enjoy having a beer with. Highly recommended tour!

First time as guide, Eric did a great job. So knowledgeable about Charleston's History, he did a great job conveying his expertise to interested walkers.
