This was the tour I booked to kill time, not thinking much of it, and wow was I wrong. The cave town is impressive, and grants some beautiful views of the georgian countryside. The Stalin museum regardless on where you stand on your political views, is the perfect place to start a conversation about life in the former Soviet Union and what it has meant to gain independence. The Jvari monastery and Mtshketa were a surprise, visiting the tombs of kings and relics of an apostle and Jesus himself (his mantle is preserved here). BUT, the highlight if the trip, not just the tour but my entire trip, was having lunch with a local family, and seeing tradition folk dance. This tour quickly became my favorite day in Georgia. Book now. Nika was also the perfect guide, he explained everything both from historical facts and also his impressions as a local. Amazing. All of it.

We are really happy we decided to book this trip. Everything was perfect. Convenient pick up from the accommodation in the morning, and also drop off in the same place after the trip. The van was really comfortable, and the driver was professional. Our guide, Giuna, was really cool! Told us lots of interesting facts connected with the trip, but also with Georgia in general. Overall it felt really like trip with friends. Of course, everything we saw on the trip was breathtaking!

It was an amazing well planned tour by Gamarjoba Georgia travels. Our guide Zura was really knowledgeable and friendly. Kazbegi is a beautiful place at time of the year.
