2. Zakynthos: Marathonisi and Cameo Islands & Keri Caves Tour

After a convenient pickup from your hotel, head to Kalamaki beach on Zante's southern shores. Enjoy the pristine beach with soft sand and warm waters, protected by National Marine Park. See where the endangered loggerhead sea turtles nest. Next, head to Laganas beach to board the glass-bottom boat. Sail to the Keri Caves, carved by time, tides, and wind. Follow the coastline, admiring the white beaches, rock arches, forested hills, and enormous limestone cliffs that fall into the sea. Pass through the famous rock arch, Kamara.  Stop for a 20-minute swim just outside the entrance to a vast cave. Climb back on board to head to Marathonisi Island, an exotic, green, and coincidentally turtle-shaped island. Enjoy an hour on the golden sandy beach where you can swim and snorkel. Head back and pass the famous Cameo island bridge. Enjoy the idyllic views of secluded beaches surrounded by steep white limestone. Enjoy a final stop at the award-winning Aristeon ecological olive oil press museum in Lithakia. Explore the history of olive oil making on the island with experts.  Enjoy free tasters of local olives and traditional bread with different flavored extra virgin olive oils (most likely lemon, orange, and garlic). Zakynthos: Early Morning Shipwreck, Blue Caves & Viewpoint

3. Zakynthos: Early Morning Shipwreck, Blue Caves & Viewpoint

Explore the island of Zakynthos on a day trip starting from Argassi. Stop by the island's top beaches, including Navagio beach, where you'll see a shipwrecked boat up close. Sail into caves and snorkel in the turquoise waters at Sfogeio beach. Finish with lunch at a local Greek restaurant. Begin with pickup from your accommodation. Enjoy the views of the olive groves, vineyards, the diversity of the landscape, the traditional village houses, the old churches, and the stunning panoramic views of the turquoise sea waters before arriving at Porto Vromi. From the small port, hop onboard the boat which is small enough to navigate within the caves. It will take about 20 minutes to sail along the west coast and reach Navagio Beach. Land early at one of the most famous beaches of the island and enjoy the surroundings without the crowds. Snap some photos of the rusty hull of the commercial shipwreck, named, M/V Panagiotis, which grounded onshore in 1980 and lies in the middle of the white sandy beach. Then, head to the blue caves characterized by their vibrant sapphire color cast by the sunlight shimmering through the water and being reflected into the caves. Take about 20 minutes for swimming and snorkeling here. Cruise next to a secluded pebbled beach which is a characteristic sample of the natural beauty of Zakynthos, before heading along the coast to explore more caves. Arrive at the magnificent Poseidon cave. Next to it, there is a natural rock formation in which you can easily spot the stunning face of Poseidon, the god of the sea, storms, earthquakes, and horses. Hop into a minivan to travel to the viewpoint of the shipwreck. Walk along a short stony path leading out to the clifftop to a high promontory facing the sea. Capture stunning photos of the iconic shipwreck in the background. Then, there is a stop for lunch at a traditional Zakynthian family-run taverna near Anafonitria. Enjoy delicious home-cooked, traditional dishes with fresh homegrown vegetables and homemade wine. The last stop will be the 2000 years old olive tree at Exo Chora. Admire one of the seven oldest olive trees in the Mediterranean, and probably one of the oldest olive trees in the world. Afterward, relax on your return journey with drop-off at your accommodation.

Private Cruise to the Turtle Island, Keri Caves & Mizithres

4. Private Cruise to the Turtle Island, Keri Caves & Mizithres

Marathonisi or simply Turtle Island is the little completely uninhabited island in the heart of Lagana Gulf. This paradise is home of the famous Carretta Sea Turtles. Enjoy its pure clear waters and spend your day swimming with the Turtles. Visit Oasis Beach and Peluso Island. A few minutes further, Keri Caves are the absolute primitive, time and space escape. Swimming stop inside the Caves. Go further up the South West to find Mizithres Beach. Crafted by the forces of nature, Mizithres Beach is a recently formed paradise! Give yourselves a time to remember with the most romantic break in the wild, at the shores of Mizithres Beach, the „new Shipwreck”! Before the end, hit Eros Beach Cave at still unknown area of Piscines with its spectacular beauty.

Zakynthos: Sunset Cruise to Myzithres with Wine

5. Zakynthos: Sunset Cruise to Myzithres with Wine

Cameo Island, Agios Sostis, Laganas After picking you up from your accommodation we will head to the small port of Agios Sostis which is located at Laganas bay from where our unique adventure will begin. We will stop for 15 minutes to admire the view of Cameo Island and its rope wooden bridge. Cameo is a privately owned little paradise and during the summer months, is connected to the land by this bridge and we will have the chance to cross and take some amazing photos! Our boat is waiting for us to start the sunset cruise along the South West Coast of Zakynthos. Marathonisi Island As soon as we are all on board, captain Panagiotis will set sail to Marathonisi, an exotic, green, naturally turtle-shaped island. Along the way, we will try to spot the unique and beautiful creatures, the Caretta-Caretta turtles, which choose Zakynthos sandy beaches every summer to lay their eggs. We will stay at this exotic golden beach swimming, snorkeling, or soaking in the sun. We must be very careful because this is a breeding area for Loggerhead turtles and we must stay only within the first 5 meters of the beach to avoid any harm to the nests of the turtles. Keri Caves Leaving Marathonisi island behind us and sailing along the coastline, you can admire the breathtaking Keri Caves carved by time, tide, and wind and also the white single beaches, the amazing rock arches, and views of the huge white cliffs. Our local captain Panagiotis is very experienced not only at getting into the small-sized caves with the Glass-Bottom boat but also passing right through the famous Keri rock arch (Kamara) as well. We will have 30 minutes to swim outside a magnificent large cave and admire the scenery around us with awe. Make sure you have with you snorkeling equipment to take a look under the crystal-clear waters and admire the sea life, (if you don't have snorkeling equipment ask the captain to borrow you). Myzithres (Keri Sea rocks) As we reach Myzithres Beach and the rocks we realize that is the most imposing landscape of Zakynthos after Navagio beach. These two towering white rocks, the small and large Myzithra are located below the lighthouse of Keri and the contrast between the crystal-clear blue-green waters and the white color of the rocks and the sand of the beach is absolutely amazing. And as the sun goes down with these marvelous colors of the sky the moment is truly enchanting. Enjoy it with a free glass of wine or soft drink.

HIGHLY recommend this tour! Khalifa was an awesome guide kind, informative & passionate about the topics. We saw a sea turtle on the boat tour thanks to our amazing captain, the water & landscapes were breathtaking. Olive press museum was more enjoyable than I had expected, don't forget to try some of the cosmetic products. Don't pay 5EUR to enter the island across the bridge, theres nothing to see that the tour hasn't already shown you except for a keyring with your photo on it.

This tour takes you to Keri Caves which is definitely the most beautiful part of the island. The water, the caves and remote beaches are indescribable! There is no stop for lunch but you can grab something at Turtle island which has boat bars if you need. Tour guide was super nice and the quick stop for the tasting at Olive Museum was also fun :) highly recommend it!
