Experience the largest, most well known Czech Spa - Karlovy Vary – a scenic 2-hour drive from Prague. Also known as Carlsbad, the founding of this town has been linked to Emperor Charles IV since 1358, when he built a hunting lodge here. Experience some of the 12 famous springs with temperatures from 40°C to 72°C, the most famous being Vridlo, as you walk along the Tepla River and the majestic Neo-Renaissance colonnades. Enjoy samples of the different mineral waters and purchase souvenirs before lunch. Then, admire the city's famous glass and china as you visit the Moser Glass Shop and the Thun Porcelain Shop. Enjoy a guided tour of the Moser Glass Factory Museum Next, journey to the famous Marianske Lazne, with its curative springs. Take a tour of the spa with its unique historical architecture, a sampling of the spa waters from the famous Cross Spring, and finally visit the ancient colonnades.

Very happy

The best was undoubtedly our dear guide Ian, who in addition to doing the tours explained to us what life is like in his country. It was a success to combine both cities, since each one separately would have remained somewhat small for such a long displacement, especially Marianske Lazne. In both cities we had around 1h of free time to wander around as we please, shop or have a drink. The food was more correct than I expected from the comments, a menu in a hotel with the option to choose between two first and two seconds. The two very beautiful and well-kept cities. The tour was done despite being only two people signed up. The price of the trip to a single city is somewhat high compared to what it would be to travel on your own (about € 60 versus about € 10 by bus). Taking that into account, the extra cost to visit the two cities is not so much and, above all, it is the only viable option to see the two cities without renting a car.

O passeio foi excelente,uma parada para conhecer a fabricação de cristais Moser, adorei ver como são feitos depois um almoço incluso com uma sopa leve de legumes e frango grelhado com batatas, as cidades de karlov vary são lindas a guia muito atenciosa, bate fotos e ajuda a manter o ritmo para conhecer TUDO, depois mariánské lázně outra cidade LINDA repetiria o passeio.

Pure stress!

Disappointing trip! The guide was a good 10 minutes late and then rushed us from one place to another! She was bossy, arrogant and rude! We were 6 adults (55+) and were treated like a school class. It started with a visit to the Moser glass factory, then 29 minutes for lunch (without notice that we had to hurry), a quick tour (30 minutes) through Karlovy Vary, where we would have liked to have a coffee. In Marienbad we prevailed and came for a coffee at the cost of the city tour. Finally, our good chauffeur had to leave the highway on the way back to drop off Madame Sofia (the guide). She probably had something else in mind, that's why she stressed us so much! We reached Prague 1.5 hours early! 10 hours were planned, for which we had paid 100 Swiss Francs per person. But the whole thing ended after 8.5 hours. This trip will remain in our memories!
