Start the tour at 9 AM with pick-up from your hotel. After a 5 minute drive,  set out on a hike through the beautiful Rose Valley which will take just over an hour. Pass by fairy-chimneys, local farms, pigeon houses, and rock-hewn cave chapels. Admire the wonderful range of rose-colored hues in the valley which change in intensity depending on the season, time of day, and weather conditions. Learn about the history and the unique formations of Cappadocia during the hike from your guide. Ah the end of the hike, make a quick stop at the picturesque old Cavusin cave village. Then head to Monks Valley (Pasabag), where you will see the mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys and St. Simeon's monk cell. Then, drive to Goreme for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of the Kaymaklı underground city, the first and most popular underground city in Cappadocia. Discover how this complex carved underground was used for hundreds of years by locals to hide from Romans, Persians, and Maurs. Cappadocia: Balloon Flight and Private Cappadocia Tour

2. Cappadocia: Balloon Flight and Private Cappadocia Tour

Your guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby before the beginning of your day’s adventures in Cappadocia. Your experience will begin with a scenic hot-air balloon ride over the unique landscape, which will provide the perfect start to your day. From there you will drive for 1 hour to Soganli Village, where you can see one of the greatest examples of monastic life that has been hidden and protected over time. Following that, drive to the Sobesos Excavation site of a Roman City, which possesses one-of-a-kind floral mosaics that have only recently been discovered. Upon arrival at the Keslik Monastery, you will have the opportunity to understand how people survived and practiced their religion on this small site. This will also give you an idea of their not-so-well-known social life. You will then drive to Sinassos where you will see an Old Greek Village, which was re-inhabited after 1927. Following that, you will sit for lunch at a local restaurant, before beginning a Red Valley hike. Day spent between the nature of the Red valley and the Byzantine churches. Our super knowledgeable and helpful Tolga guide showed us some little pearls off the beaten track. The underground city of Kaymakli was a real surprise, one of the most particular destinations ever visited in my travel experience abroad. Thanks to the help of our guide we were also able to shop in authentic places not frequented by tourists. Tour recommended for those who want to see Cappadocia in a different way and without obligation, as all travel and organization are the responsibility of the guide.

The company had a great private tour organized but more importantly, when the balloon ride was cancelled they worked all day to find us one the next morning. We were very blessed to have them.
