    1. Canterbury Cathedral, Dover Castle, and White Cliffs

On this full-day excursion from London, your first stop will be the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. There’s plenty to see in Canterbury, including the Cathedral, St. Martin’s Church and St. Augustine’s Abbey. Pilgrims have made their way to Canterbury Cathedral since the Middle Ages, and it remains popular today with visitors from around the world. You’ll travel on to the coast to see the White Cliffs of Dover, one of the country’s most spectacular natural features. I enjoyed the trip very much. Nice staff, and very clean coach. Our guide provided us a lot of information and we have got plenty of time to visit around.

Walk to the top of England's highest chalk cliff, meas...

Lawrence was our guide for the day Monday 6th September 2021. It was a well organised tour, we had an unexpected heatwave and Lawrence had kindly cooler boxed up some bottles of water and was offering them out along with rushing back to the bus before us to turn the aircon on to cool the bus down which wass very consider and thoughtful. You were given adequate time at each view point to wander a little which was perfect as it didn't feel rushed at all. There was hand sanitiser in the van and Lawrence kept his mask on whilst inside so if you are worries in regards to Covid, I think they made you feel safe. Laurence was full of knowledge and was able to make us giggle. Would definitely recommend this tour. Oh and the cafe where you stop does have a vegan option if that is a concern for anybody and they sold vegan magnums at the other cafe where you stop off too. Thankyou so much for a lovely tour in a very scenic area. I was dropped near to where I was staying too. No complaints at all.

Lawrence was informative, jovial, engaging, and adept at answering questions. With COVID measures, he had sanitizer, masks, reported he cleaned the van before/after the tour, and made people feel reassured on the tour. The sites we saw would not have come up in a guide book and the facts and information he provided made the experience that much better. I learned so much about the area! I would recommend this tour to others!

There was a special event when we had visited so it was a different experience. Overall the whole castle was really nice and beautiful, would definitely recommend visiting.

Beach is nice, clean and soft sand. Too much wind but can hire the wind blocker and enjoy. Connected to road and railway station.

Wonderful day, be sure to wear good walking footwear as the place is huge!!!
