Full description

Many find Key West a strange place during the day; but after the sun sets, the restless souls of the island’s frightful past begin to stir. On this 1-hour ghost tour, you will hear all-but-forgotten tales as you travel the dark and narrow streets of the Old Town. Pass 19th-century wooden houses that hold secret stories of former inhabitants; stories so tragic and chilling, you’ll soon see why Key West was named one of the top 10 most haunted cities in America. Learn the sinister story of creepy Count Karl Von Cosel and his dearly departed bride Elena Mesa. Hear tales of lynching, island superstitions, clandestine burials, murder and mayhem. Travel past many of the island's most haunted locations like the Marrero House, the Porter Mansion, and the Hanging Tree. Pass the former home of Robert Eugene Otto, where Robert the Doll suffered the abandonment of his lifelong companion, and his mischievous ways took a more sinister turn. Your Ghost Host will add a pinch of humor to Key West's dark side with tales of deathly love, tragic endings, scores to settle, wrongs to right and ghastly folk - some so strange it will be hard to believe they’re true…

We all loved it. We got to tour one of the haunted sites after hours, and explore it with the lights dimmed. They told us about some of the history around the island as well as the supernatural superstitions surrounding it and how it affected the culture and landscape. That said, there’s one story mentioned in the tour that’s definitely NOT suitable for children or younger teenagers.

Awesome for new & experienced riders! Jake & crew were very friendly, fun, patient & professional. Thank you for an excellent ride! I would highly recommend!!! A few things: -Directions to jet ski office is confusing with address given & on Google maps. As you turn right off main rd., "lot 1" with valet parking will be immediately to left. Around the left side of that lot is where office & jet skiing are. Park at closest store. - Only 16+ can drive their own jet ski (but my 15 yo very active son had a blast being on the back!) - Bring towel & wear fitted sunglasses to keep wind out of eyes when riding (it's windy!)

We always try to do a ghost tour on most of our trips. This one was very good. We really enjoyed our tour guide - The Hooker (explanation for the name given during the tour). We were able to see a couple of sites at night that were open just for the ghost tour which were very interesting. Overall, one of the better ghost tours we've done.
