4. Phi Phi Islands: Half-Day Private Speed Boat Charter
The experience begins at either 9:30 AM or 1:30 PM depending on the option chosen. Board your private boat from Tonsai Pier then set sail for an epic island adventure. The first stop of the day is the popular Monkey Beach, which is home to playful macaques that come down during the day to feast on crabs. Spend some time taking photos with the monkeys, then cool off as you go snorkeling in search of colorful fish.
Back on the boat, cruise around the historic Viking Cave where bird’s nests were once gathered to make soup for the locals. Head towards Pileh Lagoon next, which is considered to be the Phi Phi Archipelago's most beautiful location. Relax as you float around in the lagoon’s emerald green water and marvel at views of the surrounding jagged cliffs. Later, sail to Loh Samah Bay which boasts a large coral reef and diverse marine life. Enjoy some time to snorkel and immerse yourself in the bay’s vibrant underwater world.
The tour passes by Maya Bay next, an idyllic location that has become over populated by tourists in recent years but is now being restricted. From the boat, gaze at the bay’s remarkable scenery, which was used as the filming location for “The Beach”. After an incredible day, sit back and relax on the boat as the sun begins to set (afternoon program only). Watch as the sky is transformed with color, then catch a final glimpse of the sun before it disappears below the horizon. You can also opt to end the tour with a visit to a bioluminescent location where you can see the glow of plankton under the moonlight.
