Visit both the Auschwitz and Birkenau camps, located just 3 kilometers apart, and then get some free time for lunch. Your driver will recommend you a good restaurant. Next, learn more about salt mining at Poland's oldest salt mine, where a licensed museum guide will lead you around the salt chambers at Wieliczka Salt Mine. See magnificent chapels carved from the salt and incredible salt carvings by contemporary artists.

    • You will be required to climb 800 steps at the salt mine, including 350 steps to descend to the 1st level
    • You can book lunch at a recommended restaurant after your visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum if you prefer. You private driver is at your disposal

    Marek was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. He gave us a really good overview of Krakow and it’s history as well as being very informative about Auschwitz and Birkenau. We then followed with a visit to the salt mines. It was nice to lift our spirits after a somber morning. Highly recommend this trip.

    Although this trip is approx 10 hours, it really didn’t feel like it. Visiting the two camps is an absolute must when visiting krakow. It’s very harrowing, so sad, thought provoking but essential to ensure nothing like what happened here ever happens again. Visiting the salt mines after the camps was incredible and lifted our mood. Again the time spent here went in very quickly and our group of five absolutely loved it. Chapel chandeliers made from salt are stunning! Our driver collected us from our apartment on time and made sure we met with the tour guides for each attraction. He dropped us back off at the apartment too. I would highly recommend this trip .

    Brilliant day from start to finish. Driver easy to understand really good English we were thoroughly looked after all day no hassle with tickets and always on time. Took the hassle out of getting around even found us a brilliant restaurant to eat lunch. Lovely comfortable vehicle and a day we will remember for a long time.
