Full description

Enjoy an afternoon and evening tour to the dramatic 400-million-year-old Batu Caves and see hundreds of thousands of twinkling fireflies on a boat tour of the Selangor River. Continue to Batu Caves to roam in the prehistoric caves, after a climb of 272 steps. See some Hindu temples established here since the early 1900s, such as the temples of Lord Murugan, Siva, and Ganesh.

Before dinner, visit the Silver Monkey in Kuala Selangor Nature Park. The area is home to some cheeky Silver Leaf Monkeys, which are more friendly and tame than the monkeys at Batu Caves. Head next to Kuala Selangor, one of the most historic and conflicted areas during the early stages of the Malay Sultanate Selangor. It is also famous for its local food Restaurant, where you will enjoy dinner. Choose from a variety of favorite Malaysian dishes. Finally, drive to Kampung Belimbing Fireflies Park. Quietly float out to see the incredible twinkles of the largest fireflies colony in the world. Marvel at the ability of these amazing lightning bugs to synchronize their light patterns before your return to Kuala Lumpur..

Our guide & driver was Mathew. He was wonderful. Taught us so much about the history of Malaysia. He was very funny, we were all laughing the entire trip. He took lovely family pictures for us and did not rush us. The Batu caves were amazing, my advice is to go on a week day not busy. The food at the Chinese restaurant was not great but the location was very authentic near a fishing village. We ended the trip with the amazing boat trip to see the fireflies it was the best tour! You have to go so much fun for the entire family.

Me & my wife were picked up by Matthew who was an incredible host to this activity from 3pm - 10:30pm. He was highly knowledgable, talkative and an amazing personality for the whole trip. We were driven to the Batu Caves and instructed perfectly how to stay safe and enjoy at the same time. From there, moved onto the temple and dinner thereafter and finally the fireflies tour which was a once in a lifetime opportunity and would highly recommend to all! I loved how despite it being a shared tour, they pickup each booking seperately between the tour guides thus giving you an individual experience each before meeting up together for dinner. Thank you again to Matthew for everything and hope to visit again in the future!

Zack arrived early to collect us and we had a fantastic day with him. His knowledge was excellent as he answered every question asked of him, and that included religion, the economy and politics. This is the perfect tour if you have only 2 nights in KL, and you arrive am from a flight. It starts at 3pm, so we had time to have breakfast and catch up on some sleep if you have booked the room. We needed that after a long flight from the UK. Starting off with the must see Bacu Caves, we then went on to a beautiful clay built Hindu temple followed by being a visit to see some very friendly silver monkeys, who will jump up to greet you. Then a lovely seafood meal before a trip to the Selangor River at dusk to see an amazing display of fireflies, some of which wandered on my hands. Overall, a perfect tour from a perfect guide. We’ll worth the cost.
