Full description

Following pickup, begin your day at the Royal Selangor, which features the largest and most modern pewter factory in the world. It is also world-renowned for its high quality and craftsmanship.

On your factory tour, learn about the different processes at this factory such as casting, filing, polishing, soldering, hammering and engraving. Next, stop at Batik Factory to see how batik is designed and printed. Next, head to the limestone hills of the Batu Caves, comprised of three caverns and several smaller caves. Pass a towering statue of Murugan as you climb 272 steps into a cave shrine, and follow vivid murals of Hindu scripture. Spot the macaques that live on the lush cliff face. End your day on the city outskirts by driving past local villages. The tour ends with a drop-off back at your Kuala Lumpur City Centre hotel.

Enjoyed the trip and good value compared to it others. Our driver Nava was very helpful with lots of info . The selangor factory trip was really interesting. Batu caves was good to see, but it's a shame the site has been over commercialised, and it was so dirty, could be so much nicer, but this isn't the fault of the tour company. Would recommend the half day trip.

Nice tour, well paced and we thought worth doing. The macaques are a real pain, they are everywhere! Seriously off putting if you think you might be nervous of them coming very close to you. Not cute in any way. Also a long climb to the cave and temple, you need to be at least reasonably fit. Well worth the effort If you’re able though. Factory visits felt a bit like time filling
