With your admission ticket, visit whenever is convenient for you during operating hours. Take one of the high-speed elevators to the fully enclosed Observation Deck, located 905-feet (about 276 meters) above ground level, to enjoy a panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur. Enjoy admission to the XD Theater for a 6D-movie experience, at your own expense. Watch the movie while seated in a specially-designed armchair that moves in-sync with the film. There are typically 8 movies you can watch, each running for about 5 minutes.

The KL Tower gives you a great panoramic view of the city. I walked to the attraction and it was a short 20 minute walk. It's a little steep so keep that in mind. Pay close attention to the signs on the windows as they alert you to special landmarks that you might otherwise miss. Sometimes it takes a while to find them but it's worth looking.

Great view from the Sky Deck, super service of well trained stuff. There are some really nice food places around and other possibilities, like taking welcome picture. Currently one elevator is out of order / under maintenance, so the waiting time before you can get upstairs is pretty long. Queuing for the Sky Box itself can easily get up to 30-40mns, but the time is well invested to take a relaxed walkt around the tower. All views on KL are enjoyable and the city is worth a stay and view from this tower.

Well worth visiting for the views. I visited on a friday evening 1 hour before closing time. Queued for 10 minutes for the lift to the 'Sky Deck'. Once at the Sky Deck the views were fantastic although clouds were lurking about. I was hoping to get pictures taken in the 'Sky Box' however it started raining before our turn came up so could not take photos in there. Took the stairs 4 floors down to the 'Observation Deck' which is the same view but through glass. The view from the observation deck is not good for night time as there is too much inside light reflection. Maybe would be better in day time. Overall i would say make sure you book the Sky Deck otherwise it is not worth it. NOTE: The supplier 'getyourguide' from whom i purchased the tickets, gave me incorrect scanning QR codes. The reception desk informed me that my QR codes were old and that i would need to ask supplier for new ones. However the reception desk managed to sort it. This caused a delay of around 15 mins.
