This tour will take you to Kuala Selangor in the quiet hamlet of Kampung Kuantan, where one of the largest firefly colonies in the world exists. When you arrive, you'll visit Kota Melawati, formerly known as Fort Altingsburg, with its old execution block, royal mausoleum and colonial buildings. You'll experience the highlight of the tour at Kampung Kuantan. You will be picked up from your hotel in central Kuala Lumpur and driven to Kuala Selangor, approximately 1.5 hours away. Kuala Selangor is a small village on the banks of the Selangor River. The village is well-known, as you can find millions of fireflies there.   Upon arrival you’ll visit Bukit Melawati, where Fort Altingsburg is located. A lighthouse strands on top of the hill, surrounded by tall trees. Look out for local birds, silvered leaf monkeys and long-tailed macaques.
