One of the best days I’ve had in FNQ! Absolutely gorgeous! Do yourself a favour and get on the Kuranda Riverboat - 45 minute cruise down the Barron river with an amazing skipper. We were fortunate enough to see wild cassowaries, fish and turtles and were plunged into some awesome history and fun facts about the area. Well worth the small fee! Highly recommend.

It was a lovely way to spend the day. We caught the cable car up to Kuranda and then enjoyed a riverboat ride down the Barron River where we spotted a crocodile and turtles. There is lots to see and do at Kuranda. Then we returned by train and the views were fabulous. After the train ride, we caught a bus back to our car. Everything was comfortable and easy. We totally recommend this activity

The staff, views and staff (!!!) Made this a very special experience. It was a very busy day but we were never left waiting in frustration. The queue was long but was moved in an orderly and speedy fashion with smiles and pleasant chat from the staff at every point of contact. Hygiene was paramount which meant that the staff overseeing the gondolas were in constant motion helping guests off/cleaning and then helping the next guests onto the vacated gondola. ALL done with grace and a pleasant smile. I applaud a company who maintains such a high standard of customer service and doubly applaud the staff who made our experience so memorable.
