We did this trip over 20 years ago , when our kids were little. This time we took our grandchildren. The skyrail up to Kuranda was fabulous. The stops were beautiful and informative. The views from the Skyrail were great. All the staff were also very efficient and friendly. We were really looking forward to the train trip back down but it took forever. Neither of us recall it taking this long on previous trips. The grandkids were very bored by the end. The transfer system was very organised and well run.

My husband and I had a fantastic day. Skyrail was great and being able to stop and get out on the way up and take some great photos. We took the 3.30pm scenic train back to freshwater, what can we say but fantastic journey and the gold class service was amazing, our hostess Melinda was great , she looked after everyone with a smile and made sure everyone had a good time.

The cable ride is unique and quite an experience. The walks in between stations are great and the talk excellent in explaining to a novice the wonders of the forest. The journey on the train is not very pleasant. The train was as very full, one can’t even sit properly and most of the time there is no scenery because of the dense forest. The sell for this part of the journey is overhyped.
