The Roman rulers of Turkey used to use the natural spas in Turkey as Turkish baths. The Seljuks and Ottomans built large Turkish baths in the most populated areas of Turkey for the Turkish people to use. Baths have been part of Turkish society for centuries, and the reason they became so popular during these days was that Turkish people didn’t have facilities in their own houses. The local public Turkish bath became a social gathering place. People in Turkey in those days would view a visit to the Turkish bath as a day out and prepare picnics to take with them and eat after they have finished bathing. This tour offers a combination of the traditional hamam experience in a modern setting. Let yourself relax and unwind in an impressive hamam carved out of a cave, providing old-world tradition in a new and luxurious setting. After changing, you will be taken to the Sicaklik (Hot Room) of...

We were well pleased that we booked this taxi tour to fit in with the hours our cruise ship was in Kusadasi. Denis was an excellent tour guide and we appreciated all the information he was able to give to us as we drove to Pamukkale (Hierapolis) and also Laodicea. The hot springs are an amazing sight and the ruins of both Hierapolis and Laodicea are quite incredible. It was the highlight of our trip to Turkey! It was great to see something of the Turkish landscape other than what was close to the cruise ports. The van was very comfortable for our adult family of four and we appreciated the bottled water provided.

This is a place, that MUST be seen and worth every minute there!

Well done whole day trip. Maybe there should be some more time in Pamukkale so you can visit the ancient city as well. The hotel where we had lunch was fine and the spring with muddy water was so much fun to visit. The guide was well informed and told us a lot of information.

What an amazing day out
