Feed the giant catfish in the cooling water pond, and then enjoy a lunch of 100% clean produce in a genuine canteen from the Soviet era. Visit one of the secret stations in the ghost town of Pripyat, opened to tourism following the success of computer games such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. Greatly organised and efficient.

We had only 15 people in the group so made it much more personal and had time for extra things others big groups may not have seen. You do a lot of walking so comfortable shoes are key, it’s hard as you can’t eat or drink in the open air so on a hot day this made it hard. It’s a little scary if you are sceptical of radiation and Chernobyl itself I don’t recommend it. I didn’t exactly feel 100% safe come the end but was more then worth the money, a surreal place you’ll never experience anything like it again ( I hope) :/ it’s amazing what nature can accomplish in just 33 years, come another 33 years you won’t be able to see/go there I doubt.

Interesting but could be made way shorter

Interesting to visit this time capsule and witness the aftermath of the disaster. The tour could however be organised much better. Firstly meeting time was 7:45 in the morning and the first hour was spent waiting. Secondly a range of irrelevant “sights” were included in the trip including a USSR radar station with absolutely no relevance for a Chernobyl tour. Clearly the tour operators put in as many activities as possible in order to have a full day-programme so they can keep demanding the (outrageous) high price for the tour. The length of the programme could easily be reduced with 2-3 hours by better organisation and cutting out irrelevant visits. That being said a very interesting place that I will recommend visiting.

The most interesting place I've ever visited. Pray to all unsung heros

An amazing experience. Extremely informative, breaking some many taboos. Guide was local (from Chernobyl) and is exceptional. Cant' stop thinking about all the lives lost, but at the same time a humongous lesson for mankind. Will never, EVER, forget this experience, and doubt will ever see any other place on our beautiful Earth as interesting as Prypiat and Chernobyl. MOST DEFINITELY recommended. Organization of the tour company was not as good though. Driver and guide were amazing !
