We were traveling with my adult brother who is on the autism spectrum And everybody especially our tour guide Alastair was very patient and wonderful with him. We had a three week trip in the UK and those three days in the Highlands with the wonder photo stops and interacting among the passengers was our favorite. My brother talked about this portion of the trip the most and we heard Alastair's name a lot as he reaped our trip to Friends and Family. Pictures do not do the highlands justice. We extended our trip just for this excursion and very thankful we did. It was Amazing!!

What people are saying about Kyle of Lochalsh

Just to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the 12 hour minibus group tour on Monday from Inverness to Skye and the Eilean Donan Castle. I sounds a long time but driver-guide Jim McCloud made it both fun and interesting. There were frequent stops - longer ones at the castle and at Portree for lunch. I enjoyed the music that Jim played, and his stories and insights. There were a mix of ages on the trip, but everyone seemed to enjoy it. The scenery, of course, was the real star of the trip. I'd never been to Skye before. It was wonderful to wander round, and even do a bit of climbing, in the mountains. A wonderful trip. Highly recommended - and well worth the money.

We had the most amazing day with Catty, our awesome tour guide! She knew so many interesting things and taught is so much! We even learned about where JM Barry was inspired to write about the lost boys and never never land, along with tons of history about the jackobites and the Prince Charles guy. Seriously beautiful landscapes and tons of fun as well, we would recommend this tour 10/10 times-especially with Catty, she’s the best! ~Shari and Zach

A long but great day out, tour guide Liam kept it fresh at every turn with his interesting facts/knowledge and humour. Incredibly scenic even with the foggy conditions on that day. We did miss the Old Man of Storr because of the mist but we were taken to an alternative viewpoint and the rest of the trip more than made up for it. Would definitely recommend.

Mykel our tour was very generous with his knowledge and experience and with all the extra stops we did. It was truly fun and wonderful!

Great tour! our guide, Jim was really funny and told us lots of interesting stories about the Highlands and Scotland.
