I took this tour on my own, to explore some more of the beauty of Scotland. Our guide, Steven, told us great stories about the places we drove through and visited. The Isle of Skye is a beautiful place to explore, as is the rest of the highlands. The tour visits some of the amazing highlights of the area; our tour guide gave us options to choose from at certain points of the trip. All in all, I had a very pleasant, beautiful, and memorable 3 days.
Departing from Edinburgh, travel through Scotland’s Central Belt to Glasgow, here there's time to visit the magnificent Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, opened in 1901. Then cross the Kingston Bridge over the River Clyde and head north to the village of Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond. Next, it’s onwards and upwards over the steep pass of 'Rest and be Thankful' in the village of Inveraray, a town lapped by the sea water of Loch Fyne and famed for its oysters and seafood. Next head to Dunadd Iron Age Fort, the coronation site of kings and queens of Dalriada, the ancient Gaelic speaking kingdom. Follow in the footsteps of kings and queens and take the steep but thankfully short path to the summit of the hill. After a stop at Kilmartin Museum, drive through the stunning Argyll scenery to the bustling port and fishing town of Oban, the location of your first night’s stay. In the mornin...

I booked this tour last minute. Overall it was one of the best experiences I have ever had with tours. Our Tour Leader (Stephen) was very kind, he knew a lot about nature, culture, myths and urban legends. He took time to stop and give an brieve explanation about castles, but especially on Skye Islands it has shown us a lot. Everythings went smoothly, despite te weather and storm (Dennis ) and it was well organized. Because of all the haste, I unfortunately forgot to give the tour leader a tip. I will travel through this organization again next time I am in Scotland! Thank you!!!
Excellent 3 days tour with Highland Experience Tour. We travel a lot but we see see a lot and we stop often which make it easier and comfortable (the mini bus is impeccable).
