What people are saying about Lagoa, Azores

From start to finish, the experience was so much fun! You will start by gearing up into a wetsuit and harness and then head off for a 30 minute hike to reach the waterfalls. Though the wetsuit is a bit heavy for the hike, it helps a lot as it protects you from the vegetation and allows you to slide on your bottom if you prefer for any steep parts. Over the course of the next few hours, it’s a mix of jumps, rappels and walking through the river. The vegetation is stunning and you feel like you are in an oasis. We always felt safe and at ease to go at our own pace and choose which way we felt most comfortable going down. They also take pictures and video of you so you can just enjoy the experience. The guides were fantastic and really nice and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend if you are up for an adventure and some thrills!

We went to many different view points as well as the hot springs and pineapple plantation and got to learn the history of the island through the tour guide who was very informative and very friendly. In the day we were allowed free time to explore. Even the drive around the island was beautiful. Definitely recommend.

An excellent excursion. The guide was super attentive and very educational. Thanks to Andre. Lagoa do Fogo is beautiful and Caldeira Velha is wonderful.

Amazing experience with highly professional guides, and friendly atmosphere
