Hoover Dam from Las Vegas: Express Shuttle or Deluxe Tour
- Transportation included
- Duration: 4.5 hours
The Grand Canyon West Sunset Tour was terrific! Panda was an awesome guide and filled us with so much great information and personal stories of his experiences. We learned a lot about the Hualapai Tribe and suggestions for other places to visit in and around Las Vegas. I was glad we got to stop at the Scenic Overlook to take photos of Lake Mead. Eagle Point was really awesome! The Skywalk wasn’t included but, after seeing it from the side, I don’t think we missed anything. There aren’t a lot of railings and I’m afraid of heights, so I had to stand back a ways. Thankfully, my view wasn’t hindered. We got back on the bus and went to Guano Point where we were given camping chairs and led to an area for the best seating spots. We only had about ten minutes before the sun began to set, so we just sat and admired our beautiful surroundings. Panda, our guide, helped with photos and served a non-alcoholic champagne. The whole experience was a great memory maker and well worth the money!
This was an amazing experience that my parents and I will remember for a lifetime. We were very lucky to have Pasquale as our tour guide with my parents and five other travelers. Pasquale not only drove us to the Grand Canyon West rim, he was a super knowledgeable, enjoyable tour guide. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was enjoying the experience. He volunteered to take photos of all of us and made sure he accommodated all of our needs. I especially appreciated how kind he was to my parents. I absolutely recommend this to anybody who want to take their parents or families to the beautiful Guano Point in the west rim of the Grand Canyon for half a day and see the amazing sunset. Food and water was provided, as well as, non-alcoholic sparkling cider to be enjoyed for that perfect sunset photo with your significant other or family members. This is something that everyone at all ages can enjoy like my 60 something year old parents.
This is an excellent activity if you are looking for outdoor things to do. I'm glad we took the early morning hike (6:00am) because we beat the heat and we had the trails mostly to ourselves. Mason was an excellent guide, as he explained about the plants and critters we encountered a long the way and also made sure that our first ever hike was appropriate to our abilities. We were able to appreciate the beauty of multicolored rocks and the Fire Wave and view the Petroglyphs in addition to taking the hike to Mouse's tank in about 3.5 hours. We will definitely take another hike with Mason the next time we visit Vegas!
I selected the intense level hike in the Valley of Fire - the Fire Wave Trail. Our guide Sarah made the trip! She was extremely knowledgeable and fun to hike with while accommodating all those in my group who are difficult to please. I would recommend this tour company - fun for all ages with differing hiking expertise. This is my second trip with this company and they did not disappoint! They were on time, communicative throughout the entire process, and professional.
We were very fortunate to basically get a private tour with the tour guide, due to nobody else signing up. It was an amazing trip. The guide shared a lot of information about the history of the park, and also explained the different types of wildlife and vegetation that we saw.
