Udaipur, once called the most romantic spot in all of India, is the city of Lakes. This tour covers the most important sites of the city, and ends with a serene sunset at Lake Pichola. Several locations were made famous in the the James Bond movie, Octopussy, filmed here in 1982.  Start your tour at Sajjangarh or the Monsoon Palace, an old dilapidated hunting lodge, perched atop a hillside. It offers fantastic views of the countryside, the Aravalli hills, and Fatehsagar Lake, the next stop on this tour. Step into the Maharaja’s lifestyle at Udaipur City Palace (Rajasthan’s largest palace). Some of these buildings date back 400 years. City Palace Museum has opulently decorated rooms, filled with artifacts and miniatures. Spend approximately two hours here, before heading to the Jagdish temple. Built in 1651, this serene marble temple with stone carvings is dedicated to an avatar of Lord Vishnu. Stop for lunch at a restaurant of your choice, or ask your guide for recommendations (lunch at own expense). Take a relaxing stroll around the lotus pools and fountains at Saheliyon ki Bari. As the day comes to an end, watch the sunset from Lake Pichola. The evening light makes for perfect photo opportunities. You can also choose an optional boat ride for a pleasant end to your full day tour. At the end of the activity, your driver will drop you back to either your hotel, the airport, or railway station in Udaipur.

Be greeted by your driver at your accommodation in Udaipur by your guide. Head off for the city palace of Udaipur. Spend 3 hours on a guided tour around the palace complex, built over a period of nearly 400 years with contributions from several rulers of the Mewar dynasty. Visit the famous Jagdish Temple, a large Hindu temple in the middle of Udaipur in Rajasthan, just outside the royal palace. It has been in continuous worship since 1651.  After the guided tour, head to Lake Pichola to join a shared boat tour (self-guided) on the artificial lake., named after the nearby Picholi village, and how it is one of several contiguous lakes developed over the last few centuries in and around Udaipur. Then, relax on your drive back to your accommodation in Udaipur.

First up on your tour of Udaipur is the City Palace, the most famous architectural marvel of Udaipur. This palace complex includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and various other buildings. The complex also features a museum, which has a rich collection of royal costumes and a display of Rajput weaponry. Afterwards, you'll be driven to the Shree Jagdish Temple.  The Shree Jagdish Temple is 3 stories high and was built by the Maharana Jagat Singhji in 1651, costing more than 1.5 million rupees. It is now owned and managed by the royal family of Udaipur. After visiting the temple you will then drive to Saheliyon Ki Bari, the most beautiful garden in Udaipur. Then it's a quick stop for lunch before moving on to Pichola Lake.  Here you will enjoy a boat ride with a perfect backdrop of lush green hills. Pichola Lake is the oldest lake in Udaipur and one of the most beautiful lakes in Rajasthan. You will then move to Dudh Talai where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Pichola Lake, Jagmandir Island Palace, Lake Palace, Udaivilas, the Leela Palace, the gorgeous Aravalli ranges and Udiapur old city.

Udaipur is famed as the ‘Venice of the East’ because of its beautiful Lakes and Ghats. On this tour, you will walk through these beautiful ghats with a friendly local storyteller and admire the amazing views of Pichola Lake.  Start your experience by heading to the most romantic spot of the ghats, where you will enjoy the best views in the city. Continue walking through Hanuman Ghat and Nav Ghat, learning about the culture of Rajasthan and Rajputs. Visit Gangaur Ghat, which symbolizes the auspicious 'Gangaur' Festival of Rajasthan. Discover the colorful embellishments at Lal Ghat and finally take a boat ride on Lake Pichola via the resplendent Jag Mandir Palace with splendid views of the City Palace complex, the picturesque ghats, Sajjangarh and the Haveli on the bank of the lake.

At 3:30pm board your chauffeur driven car from your booked hotel in Udaipur. From there, you will be driven to Lake Pichola for a mesmerizing boat ride. As the boat ride begins, you will start to see the majestic views of key monuments lining the lake. Catch a glimpse of the 400 year old City Palace, boasting numerous lavish palaces and see locals washing on the ghats (quay) reached by staircase.    Enjoy the cool breeze as you continue the windy ride, looking out for the massive Havelis (private mansions) on the shore. The most prominent one is Bagore ki Haveli, famous for decorations with intricate and fine work of mirrors. Also, do not forget to spot the distant view of Monsoon Palace, perched on the Aravalli hills. Finally, as the time flows, watch the gorgeous sunset view disappearing into the horizon. After the boat ride you, get back in the car and you will be safely dropped back to your booked hotel.       

Be picked up by your driver at 3:00pm from your booked hotel and leave for boat ride on an artificial freshwater lake in Udaipur city, Lake Pichola. Board the jetty from and set off on mesmerizing boat ride. The lake is dotted by small islands in the middle boasting historical palaces. On this boat ride you will see spectacular views of major monuments resting on the edge of lake. The sights from boat ride include: Jag Niwas, Jag Mandir, Mohan Mandir, Arsi Vilas, Bagore ki Haveli, City Palace, Monsoon Palace, etc.  Next, head towards Bagore ki Haveli by jetty to enjoy a cultural puppet dance show. Spend an entertaining evening with an amusing show exhibiting wonderful coordination of puppets. After the show, proceed to dinner at a local restaurant where you can try lip-smacking Rajsthani cuisine prepared from variety of indigenous spices. Finally, you will be dropped back safely to your booked hotel in Udaipur, terminating the tour package.

Day 1 - Pick-Up in Delhi and Delhi Sightseeing Tour. Pick-up from your hotel in Delhi/Gurgaon/Noida or Airport in Delhi at 9am. Embark on an Old and New Delhi sightseeing tour. First, visit Jama Masjid, Rickhsaw Ride, Chandni Chowk and Red Fort in Old Delhi. After visiting, take a short lunch break. Later, continue visiting New Delhi city, visit Humayun Tomb, India Gate, Parliament House, Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple. Old and New Delhi sightseeing ends here. Return back to your hotel in Delhi. Stay overnight in Delhi. Day 2 - Delhi to Agra and Agra Sightseeing Tour. After breakfast and checking out of the hotel around 9AM, you can drive to Agra, which will take approximately three hours. When you arrive, check-in to your hotel and take some time to rest and relax. Later in the evening, you can explore the Etimad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj) and Mehtab Bagh (Sunset Point), and take some amazing pictures of the beautiful backdrop of the Taj Mahal over the river Yamuna during sunset. Day 3 - Agra Sightseeing Tour & Drive to Jaipur. At the crack of dawn, particularly earlier in the summer, your driver and guide will come to collect you from your hotel and take you to witness the beautiful view of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Capture this breathtaking sight in your camera to keep the memory alive. After breakfast and check-out, you will visit the Agra Fort and then proceed to Jaipur. During the journey, you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri. When you arrive in Jaipur, you will check-in to your hotel for an overnight stay. Day 4 - Jaipur Sightseeing Tour & Drive to Udaipur. After having breakfast and checking out of the hotel around 9AM, you will proceed to explore the city of Jaipur. Start your journey by visiting Amber Fort .Then, explore the photography spots like Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal. After that, you will proceed to visit City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Patrika Gate. After having lunch, drive to Udaipur city and on arrival, check-in to your hotel and stay overnight in Udaipur. Day 5 - Udaipur Sightseeing Tour. After breakfast, proceed for a Udaipur sightseeing tour, visiting the Jagdish Temple, City Palace, Lake Pichola (with a boat ride), Taj Lake Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake, Jag Mandir Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari and Bagore ki Haveli. After the tour, return to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day in leisure, before spending the night in Udaipur. Day 6 - Udaipur Airport Departure. After having breakfast and checking out, drive to Udaipur Airport to take a flight back to Delhi. If you want to continue your onward journey, you can take a flight from Delhi. Alternatively, if you wish to stay in Delhi, our driver will come to receive you at the airport and drop you off at a hotel in Delhi. Note that the hotel stay for this night in Delhi will not be included in the tour price.

Day 1: Jodhpur to Udaipur (including Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh Fort) Your three day tour begins  From Jodhpur with pick-up from your centrally-located hotel in Jodhpur, Jodhpur Airport, or the Jodhpur Junction railway station. You can choose between multiple departure times (please advise at booking time) to suit your schedule. While en route to Udaipur, you will make a stop in Ranakpur, the site of a Jain Temple that dates to the 15th century. Explore the magnificent pillars and unique architecture of this ancient structure (entrance at own expense), and make sure to watch for the resident population of monkeys that call the complex home. You will then continue to your final destination, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kumbhalgarh Fort. This 15th-century defensive structure is famous for its massive walls which are said to extend for more than 23 miles (38 kilometers). After visiting the fort, you’ll be transferred to your final destination in Udaipur, where you will have an overnight stay in a hotel. Day 2: Udaipur City Tour After breakfast, you will visit the Udaipur City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Maharana Udai Singh started building this palace in 1559, and it was completed in the 18th century by his successors. Later, stop by Shree Jagdish Temple, a world renowned temple of Lord Vishnu. This 3-storey and 79-foot high temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singhji in 1651, cost 1.5 million rupees and is owned and managed by the royal family of Udaipur. The next stop is Dudh Talai, located on the banks of Lake Pichola near the City Palace. Here you can enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Pichola, the Jagmandir Island Palace, Lake Palace, Udaivilas, the Leela Palace, the gorgeous Aravalli ranges and Udiapur old city. You can either walk around the lake to see various species of birds, relax in the lush green garden, or enjoy the musical fountains in the park. You will also stop by Saheliyon Ki Bari, Moti Magari and the Sukhadiya Circle. When the tour concludes, you will be dropped off back at your hotel, where you will have an overnight stay. Day 3: Udaipur To Jodhpur After breakfast on the third day, you will be safely transferred back to Jodhpur.
