What people are saying about Lake Titicaca, Peru

Uros islands are interesting in that they are floating and the tour explains how they are made. Amantani was less touristic. It is the difference between tourism performed and tourism with integrity. You stay with a family and get a chance to have some conversation if you speak Spanish. Otherwise, you simply get to see how people live which is worth it in itself. Don't plan on fancy toilets. You pour a bucket of water placed next to the outhouse to flush. A good time to have remembered toilet paper. The hiking is definitely moderate on both days. There is a lot of uphill.

Lovely islands to visit and see how locals live. The tour guide was awesome. Lunch was perfect with a location looking at the Taquile Island scenery.

Easy check in, comfortable transportation, ON time ! Fernando was professional and friendly. Way better than the other company I used in Peru.

This trip was very well organised. Staying with the local family was really nice. You stay with other people from the group too.

Very good excursion with a nice guide. We particularly liked Taquile Island.
