We booked the panoramic tour because we wanted to avoid wasting any precious vacation time on dealing with the hassle that comes with a do-it-yourself sight seeing tour (you know: finding a rental car, reading tourist guides to define a route, looking for parking space at every sightseeing location etc). Obviously, excursions come at a cost but we have to admit that at least this one, was well worth it. We were picked up at our hotel at the correct time by a charming, friendly guide (called Uwe) who during the whole 8 hour tour, provided us with interesting information about Gran Canaria, showed professional driving skills and provided enough flexibility for everyone (we were a group of 6) to take the time we needed at each stop. Part of the package was also an all-in lunch in a local restaurant which gives the opportunity to actually taste the real local cuisine. But now... the verdict... well, since this excursion met all expectations and there's nothing really which we didn't like,

End with a visit to the popular resort town of Maspalomas, known for its stunning dunes and natural reserve. Hear about the history of the island and its places along the way. Return to Las Palmas and get dropped off in the afternoon.

This was my first visit to Gran Canaria, for number of reasons I decided to stay in the north (Las Palmas) and bought 2 (+1) tours around the island to get better idea of different regions and places of importance. All of the tours were amazing: small groups, the routes were planned with great detail and knowledge of the island, they well-balanced nature, towns/villages and museums (!); stops to enjoy sights, have coffee or lunch were adequate; and equally important: the guides were fantastic! I have trully enjoyed their talking on all kind of topics related to local history, fauna, flora, geology, archeology, customs, legends, social specifics related to current life incl. "covid times" and impact on tourims (seeing empty hotels in Maspalomas), and the like. Excellent.

The tour offers you plenty of opportunities to take photos and also a stop for lunch to enjoy typical Canarian specialties.  You’ll feel like a desert scout or even like Lawrence of Arabia, as you ride a gentle camel through the 1000 Palm Tree Valley. You don’t need to ride on the hump, by the way, as the camels are fitted with comfortable 2-seater saddles!

Pleasant trip, more info about the areas we were visiting would have been a nice choice (eg. S. Lucia church and the village...). The driver Gabri was fun (we were trying to understand his Spanish, answering in Italian, he was doing the opposite and the experiment was quite successful!)

The driver picked me up on time. After arrival there was also a short introduction and the right horses (depending on riding skills and experience) were assigned. The companions or riding instructors are very courteous and make an effort. I took the 2 hour tour. I would also like to say that this can be very exhausting without riding experience and in the heat. Depending on your riding experience, you can also choose whether you want to trot or gallop. I can only warmly recommend the tour, but apply some lotion beforehand :)

Definitely take something to put on. It was a lot of fun to drive with Laura. But after that I got a total cold. Because you sweat and the jeeps are open.

Best experience there is. The people are great, horses looked well cared for and the view you get while riding is fe nominal!!

Great park, animals have now a good life! Admission fee was to cheap.

Very cool spot and also the instructor is really nice
