Full description
Leave bustling Las Vegas and head out on a scenic drive into Navajo territory. Stop for breakfast in St. George, Utah, home to the oldest continuously operating Mormon temple in the world. After breakfast, approach the mighty Colorado River for a visit to Horseshoe Bend. Note where the river flows and meanders around the rocks creating a distinctive horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. Next, travel to where “the water runs through the rocks” as per the local Navajo folklore. Explore lower Antelope Canyon and visit the spectacular dunes created by the wind, water, and sand. With your local Navajo guide, discover the beauty of the canyon up close. Admire the beauty of the sun which creates shafts of light that shine through the slits in the canyon walls. After a break for lunch, continue to the Glenn Canyon viewpoint for one last look at this spectacular area. Finally, hop back on the bus to return to Las Vegas in the evening.

Lower Antelope Canyon is truly amazing and breathtaking. The local tour guide Mac was marvellous, He showed us the amazing rock shapes and took pictures for us many times untiringly. The tour guide (2 of them) that drove us there and back were very attentive and co-ordinated every detail immaculately. Overall it’s a very enjoyable experience and I highly recommend this tour ( despite the the long hours in the bus.

I have only two observations. When making my reservation I had a start time of 6:30 am (it also came in my confirmation) and it turned out that they did not notify me that it changed at 7:00 am. I bought the tour in Spanish and they put me in the English group without asking. Fortunately the guide was super friendly and excellent in his work, he was always on the lookout and is very nice and professional, I highly recommend Danny and the tour is very complete.
