We only went to see the vineyard because the tickets website is such an unholy, unnecessarily complicated mess which confuses rather than assists people. We were trying to get tickets to view The Last Supper and it was a protracted affair trying to narrow down which ‘tour’ to book. Clearly we got it wrong. Nevertheless, it was a peaceful and interesting way to pass a couple of hours on a wet winter weekend in Milan. The conacolovinciano org ought to revamp their website. The Last Supper and the confusing amount of very expensive (and apparently some badly run) tours that abound are not good publicity for the city.
We had some extra time in Milan, so we chose to see the vineyard. The villa is amazing to walk through and the grounds are beautiful. The audio is very informative.
I absolutely loved this experience. It stayed true to leonardos time in Milan and his house he’d been gifted with virtual audio points throughout the grounds.
