  • Krakow: Folk Show & 3-Course Dinner at Jama Michalika Café

    3. Krakow: Folk Show & 3-Course Dinner at Jama Michalika Café

Begin your evening at Michalik's Cave in central Krakow. Once a bustling hub for the city’s bohemian crowd, you'll see that the venue has preserved its artsy atmosphere, as you sit among paintings and caricatures of Krakow artists, writers and journalists. Relax and enjoy as the concert and dance performance begins. Learn about Polish traditions and folklore as you watch performers dressed in regional costumes tell their stories through dance and folk music. If you feel like getting up on your feet, you’ll be invited to join in with the dancing, too. Afterward, savor a 3-course dinner of traditional Polish fare amid the lively atmosphere. With appetites sated, your dinner show will conclude after the meal.

First off, this was an experience and a half! We booked for our first evening in krakow for an immersive experience and this didn’t disappoint! The music and dancing was amazing, lots of crowd participation which was real fun! My sister (who I went with) is a pretty fussy eater but managed ok with the food. I on the other hand am a foodie and it was ok for me too. Not amazing but for a experience what do you expect?! If you want to do something different on your next trip, this is the experience for you!

  • Krakow: Boat Party with Unlimited Drinks

    6. Krakow: Boat Party with Unlimited Drinks

Set sail down the beautiful Vistula river at 8:00 PM every Saturday night for 2 hours, and enjoy an open bar for the entire cruise, drinking games, party guides and a full surround sound system. This is an astoundingly great party with all the right ingredients required to have a great time. And to take things to a hot new level, every cruise includes a brilliant fire breathing show. Once back on land, you will be taken to 2 of Krakow's most infamous late night clubs and after parties. This will include VIP entry, no lines and free welcome shots. A professional photographer will be there to capture fun and happy images.

This was one of the most amazing nights of my life!!!! I dont know where to start but I will try, when we arrived at the meeting point the guides were super friendly and explained how the night will work, when boarding the boat we were given our first of many free drinks, they were very generous with the amount of alcohol. The cruise lasted for 2 hours and we cruised up and down the river, the views were very nice and the DJ was smashing out tunes that really got the crowd going, I was on my own and was worried it would be a little awkward but the staff were really nice and hung out with us all night, one of them was a magician and performed some pretty cool tricks for us. After the cruise they took us to 3 clubs, each better than the previous, it was great getting to skip the line and at the very last club the line was massive, and I'm not surprised as it was pumping inside. Great night out and money well spent.

  • Krakow: Guided Tour of Rynek Underground

    7. Krakow: Guided Tour of Rynek Underground

Your guide will meet you at the entrance to the museum and you start your tour into the past. During your 2-hour museum tour you will discover a unique archaeological reserve in Europe, covering nearly 43,000 sq.ft (4000 sq.m). It was fashioned under the surface of the Main Market Square to provide a display for the treasures that had been found and narrate the turbulent history of Medieval Krakow. The oldest history is exemplified by reconstructions of 11th-century burials presented in the exhibition. See the treasures hidden underground, learn a lot with the help of touchscreens, holograms, projections and documentary films. At the end of the tour, when you go to the surface again, you will see Krakow from a new perspective.

This was a nice guided tour of the underground city in Krakow. Our guide Chris was quite informative and made the time there more interesting for us. Recommend to visit this place and spend the money for the guided tour.
