Awesome! Jorge is a fantastic guide! Was a beautiful walk and we enjoyed every minute of it. He knew a lot about the plants and animals there and we really enjoyed talking with him. My boyfriend and I loved it and would book another trip with him for sure. It's a long walk but not difficult or anything but bring good hiking shoes or sneakers that could get muddy. Great hike!

It was completely unexpected a private tour, just the two of us with the guide along the beautiful path. Few other hikers were on the way, refreshment stops before the start and after the end of the hike. Good explanation of the flora and fauna along the way. Very good information about the history and geography of Madeira, but also the economic and social development of the island. We were able to confirm the appointment and the meeting point an hour before the start and adapt it to the current situation. For the return we had arranged another stop without any problems in order to be able to explore Funchal. An unforgettable day in Madeira with very friendly and competent support.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of hiring Jorge to take us on this hike of Levada do Roi while we were on holiday in Madeira over the New Year. This was his first time running this particular hike and we were both very impressed by his vast knowledge of the history of Madeira, the natural vegetation on this scenic hike itself, friendliness and professionalism. He picked us up at 9 am sharp from our hotel on Jan 5 and kept us enthralled for the next 6 hours. Not only did he take us on the hike as booked, he also went above and beyond and took us on an additional tour of the north side of the island, complete with a coffee stop in the surfing village of Porto Cruz. We loved hearing about all Jorge's previous adventure holidays and sharing our own. We were definitely hire Jorge to take us on another hike when in Madeira again and recommend him to any family and friends who plan on visiting this beautiful island
