Acquario di Genova The Aquarium of Genoa hosts the most extensive range of aquatic biodiversity in Europe. The exhibition gallery consists of over 70 exhibits and about 12,000 specimen of 600 species, from all the seas of the world. From the rarest species such as manatees – marine mammals that may be at the origin of the legend of mermaids – to the most famous ones such as dolphins, penguins and sharks – the great predators of the sea; but also jellyfish, seals and multi-coloured tropical fish species. Not far from Porta Soprana, just outside the ancient medieval walls, is the Casa di Colombo, where the discoverer of the Americas lived in his youth. According to archival documents, Domenico Colombo, father of the great navigator, moved here in 1445, when Christopher Columbus was four years old. The ground floor of the house was used as a workshop, and an attic with wooden beams divides it from the upper park, where the rooms for private use were located.

It was the first time I went to the Genoa aquarium. I loved it, I was very excited. Even the FantaCinema was gorgeous, although it wasn't very big it was full of reproductions and original pieces from various films, from Star Wars costumes to models from various films. there was also an alien used in the movies ready to attack ... it was great

Fantacinema is a small museum, but it has lots of cool figurines. A good way to spend 30-60 minutes in Genoa. The aquarium was very cool. We got to see penguins, dolphins, seals, manatees, and more.

Week end a Genova. Acquario bellissimo. Ci siamo divertiti molto. Poi abbiamo finito la nostra mattinata al Fantacinema. I bimbi hanno apprezzato molto la mostra. Tutto ok. Lo consiglio tantissimo.

Everything's fine. Immediate admission even if you arrive early even if you can enter early only in the 30 minutes preceding the booked time slot. All perfect.

Très belle journée,mes filles ont adoré l'aquarium !
