Take a good look beforehand at what you are entitled to, such as the guided tour of the old town which is included in the city pass and which I had reserved and paid for in parallel. Very practical otherwise and a lot of visits included. However, you must reserve them and collect the tickets at the tourist office beforehand.

It saves a lot of money to use the pass as a public transport card and museum annual card. It is also nice that there is a booklet and map which makes it clear. I do recommend picking up an extra map of the public transport network.

The Christmas market is small & a little disappointing compared to others I’ve been to- Bruges is much better! But no complaints, a pleasant trip with some great museums visited.

Great value for money -easily managed to visit lots of attractions within 48 hours. Lille is a very friendly place for tourists.

Really easy to use on all forms of transport and in museums.
