Elizabeth was a WONDERFUL guide! We hired her as a private driver with van to take us all around Sintra and she was magnificent. She customized the trip to our needs and was very knowledgeable about all the palaces and history of Portugal as a whole! She found us the best places to eat and accommodated our last minute request to stop at some local touristy spots in Lisbon too and explained them beautifully. Her Mercedes van was extremely comfortable for all 6 of us, her driving impeccable and she knew back roads that would allow us to skip traffic!!!

Very fortunate to have Alex of Top Ten Tours as a guide, well-informed, articulate, and as a local of Sintra extremely knowledgeable on this particular trip. Also a good sense of humor which always helps. I can not recommend him highly enough. Well worth the money.

Our group of 4 adults took an all day tour to Sintra from Lisbon with Elizabete of Top Ten Tours. She customized our day based on my requests (tours of Quinta da Regaleira, and Monserrate, with free time for lunch & shopping in Sintra). Elizabete picked us up very near our hotel and we were very comfortable in a Mercedes van. Elizabete is an excellent, friendly, and fun guide. She paced our day well and took us to the busiest areas of the Quinta da Regaleira first, so that we beat the crowds (especially at the beautiful Well of Initiation and Labyrinthic Grotto). Elisabete explained the history of both estates and gardens, including explaining the symbolism of many of the garden structures. She was very flexible about time and swung us by Cascais on our way back to Lisbon. It was a fabulous day!
