Set off on an education experience of exploration with this 3 hour walking tour of Belem. Receive detailed information from your guide on Portugal’s role as a seafaring nation on the forefront of discovery, plus a wide variety of topics ranging from current events in Portugal to rich culinary traditions and much more. See the main monuments in the area, like the Monument of the Discoveries, the Jerónimos Monastery, and the Tower of Belem. Towards the end of your tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the Nautical Museum located in the Jerónimos Monastery.  This tour is conducted by a certified local guide whose mission is to inform travelers on what they need to know to enhance their stay in Lisbon, and to promote Portugal's culture and heritage. From recommendations of things to do in the city, to insider advice on public transportation to other areas you would want to visit on your stay, feel free to ask your guide anything. A coffee or ice cream break halfway through the tour is also included. The maximum number of participants is 6 people. This way a personal and engaging experience is guaranteed.

Thanks for this very informative walk!

I would like to extend a special thanks to Rui who made this tour special for my partner and me. He provided substantial background knowledge on Belém, and we were under the impression that his intention was to breathe life into the history of Portugal. Add to this the delicious pasteis de belém, and you have a day well spent! ***10/10 would recommend*** Oh and PS: Rui did not spoil Game of Thrones!! Thanks for that too ;))

Explendid! Rui is a master about Lisbon's history

Rui showed an incredible knowleadge not only about Lisbon history and landmarks, but from all the countries Portugal was connected in the past and present, As a great tour guide and a company to chat with, it was wonderful to arrive in Lisbon and have this tour right away to explore the city! Tour di Belen tra storia e cultura

It was not my first time in LIsbon but RUI FERNANDES made me "see" this city in a different way. He was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide Belen tour with Rui was a very interesting immersion in Portugal's history and culture with a special attention to details. I also appreciated his availability for accompaning me to my hotel and for giving me useful practical information about public transport in LIsbon.
