Really good day looking at the beautiful flowers with lots to see. However no signs for bus stop coming back and girl who was supposed to tell us the bus had arrived didn't show up until bus was leaving and it was too late. A coach was used with an A4 sized notice on the opposite side of the coach saying hop on hop off bus and so wasn't clearly visible. The girl from This is Amsterdam didn't even apologise even though a few people were complaining. We had to wait another 30 minutes and this time she lined people up to get on the bus and escorted them on. Would have given this trip 5 stars only for that.

Pros and cons Arrived early to get bus to keukenhof for 11:30 as we had a short window of time to visit. We were told we couldn't get on the 11:30 but could go on the 12pm bus then we were put on the 11:30am coach but it didn't leave till about 11:45am. On the way back we went for the 2pm bus but ended up on a bus going back which would have been the 1:30 but again left late at 1:45. It was tricky deciding if we could have stayed longer as buses weren't running to time and didn't want to miss our later connections. Otherwise everything was good.

The Keukenhof flower experience is unparalleled , once inside !!

Approaching Keukenhof one felt a little let down. ( No flowers - But the weather plays a big role in the timing- An early hot (warm) spring ) . Once inside the Gardeners MAGIC starts playing their role. Magnificent displays , replaced fairly often, keeps the visitors enthralled. The diversity is a major factor and around every corner something new and exciting is presented. For such a busy place even the food and catering is vey good.

The trip to keukenof was great. Very well organized. The place itself was great. The only problem was the bus back to Amsterdam. It was very late and then we found out the driver had to take a break. We had to wait for another bus to come. Besides that it was excellent.

The gardens were beautiful. The bus was on time. We thought we were supposed to see a video about the Gardens and we didn't. The driver never told us a thing about the sites as we traveled to Lisse. Those two things were disappointing.
