  3. From Manchester: North Wales Sightseeing Adventure Day Trip

  After you meet the boat, you will head to the mythical scandola reserve in approximativaly one hour. The visit will start from the island of Cargalo and will continue through the cathedral fault, a total visit of the reserve and a swimming brak in turquoise waters while our captains will prepare for you a "nustrale" aperitif, a tasting of cold meats and rosé wine from Corsica. At noon, you will arrive at Girolata, a small fishing village built around an 18th century fortress accesible only by sea. You will get a free stop of 2 hours for lunch (extra charge).   I did the North Wales tour last 22/09/2021. Our tour guide/driver Shelly was fantastic, witty and quite knowledgeable about the places we've been - She gave us enough time to enjoy all our stops and even suggested where to eat or find lovely souvenirs.   Leaving Chester, the majestic Snowdonia National Park will open up as you travel across a stunning mountain road with a stop at Llyn Ogwen, a beautiful lake with amazing mountain views. Rumored to be the final resting place of King Arthur's sword Excalibur. Proceed towards the honeypot village of Betws-y-Coed. You will have time here to find some lunch and explore this beautiful place. After Betws-y-Coed, head to Great Orme, a giant limestone headland. See the historic seafront with its 19th-century pier and take in fantastic views of Anglesey and Snowdonia. Continue towards Llandudno on the North Wales Coast.
