6. From Phuket: Maya Bay, Phi Phi Islands Boat Tour with Lunch

Take a day to see the extraordinary nature of the Phi Phi Islands from Phuket. Discover many locations of Green Island, look up at the steep cliffs, and admire the many bays and sites such as Maya Bay, Loh Samah Bay, Monkey beach, and more. Following a hotel pick-up, head to Rassada Port and board a luxury, speedboat headed for Green Island. Arrive at Green Island, and enjoy snorkeling in the waters for about an hour. After, arrive at Maya Bay Phi Phi Islands, a stunningly beautiful bay sheltered by 100-metre high cliffs on three of the sides. Take pictures and explore the bay, before heading to the next stop at Loh Samah Bay. Located on the southern part of Koh Phi Phi Leh island, this bay is on the opposite side of Maya Bay. It is known for its spectacular snorkling on Koh Phi Phi Leh, the second-largest island of the Koh Phi Phi Archipelago. Loh Samah can be easily reached by boat and usually serves as one of the stops during a day trip to Phi Phi islands. After a while, arrive at Viking Cave, one of the most notable sites on Koh Phi Phi Leh. Visiting Viking Cave allows you to discover one of the most profitable local industries: the hunting/harvesting of swiftlet birds’ nests. Particularly prized in Chinese culture, these edible nests are believed to promote good health and are specifically suitable for the skin. Enjoy lunch at a beachside restaurant (Halal Food available) on Phi Phi Don Island (Ton Sai Bay) and have free time on the beach. If there is one thing that makes the holidays even more exciting, it is the guarantee that there will be cute animals to play with. At Monkey Beach, wild monkeys live freely and roam the sandy shore. Immerse yourself in the warm and beautiful environment, while getting cheeky with the local, long-tailed Macaque troops, who are the true owners of the beach.

The trip was well planned. The last island we drove to was absolutely unnecessary. You had to buy something there to even get a lounger. But all in all it was ok.
