    Meet your guide at the tourist office in Tours and drive in a minivan to Vouvray. Discover this beautiful wine area full of passionate winegrowers. Meet a French winemaker in a charming family-run estate. See the vines and visit the traditional vat room and the cellars. During this visit, you will improve your knowledge regarding wine-making and of course wine tasting. Elegant sparkling wines and white wines are produced in this area. After this first visit, explore one of the famous underground caves that were dug during the 10th century in order to extract stones and today used by a famous Loire Valley wine house for producing and storing wines. Throughout the afternoon, your guide will share his knowledge with you, to help you understand the diversity of Loire wines and their specific terroir. You will learn the different steps of wine tasting and train your nose to identify many wine aromas. Benefit from your guide's tips and tricks and learn to taste like a professional. Afterward, you will be driven back to Tours, where your tour will end.

    A most enjoyable experience with a knowledgeable and friendly guide.

    The tour was very well organised and a most interesting experience. We were picked up on time from the Loire Tourist Office in Tour, and taken on a picturesque drive to our first stop at the Alain Robert vineyards. We were met there by the wife of the owner who gave us an interesting insight into the growing and harvesting cycle. We then went up to the higher vineyards and sampled Vouvray wines in the beautiful countryside; wonderful! Next we went on to see the bottling process. Finally we visited the labyrinthine limestone cellars of the Bredif winery; an amazing experience! Our guide from the winery gave us a well informed and entertaining tour, which culminated in a wine tasting accompanied by tasty snacks. The 4 hour tour exceeded expectations and made us feel that we would like to spend more time exploring this region and it's wonderful countryside and viniculture.

    It was a high quality experience for the wines and wineries visited ... pity that the tour had to last 5 hours ... from 14 to 19 ... but at 17:50 we were already in Tours. An appetizer of cheeses and local products was indicated but only small canapes and some dried fruit were offered.
