Full description

Enjoy a full-day tour of 2 of the West Country of England’s most famous attractions on a coach trip from London to the standing stone circle of Stonehenge and the Roman and Georgian city of Bath. Following your transfer from central London, start by exploring the mysteries of Stonehenge, the world’s most famous prehistoric monument.

Dating back some 5,000 years, the stone circle is located on Salisbury Plain, and has been home to pagan religions and spiritual worship for centuries. Try to unlock some of its secrets at the new Visitor Center. Then, continue to Bath in time for lunch at leisure. There’s an incredible selection of restaurants in the city, including traditional pubs for a classic pub lunch, quaint tea houses, and cool sandwich shops for a quick snack. Enjoy ample free time to wander the delightful crescents and terraces of the city to see fine examples of Georgian architecture.

If you prefer, visit the Roman Baths, built around 2,000 years ago (entrance ticket at your own expense). Marvel at the grand Bath Abbey, or go to the romantic Pulteney Bridge across the River Avon. Learn why Bath was so loved by Jane Austen at the Jane Austen Centre, and visit the elegant 18th-century Assembly Rooms. There will be plenty of time to shop, or to enjoy afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms, where the quintessential English experience is accompanied by live classical music.

We were thinking about traveling to Bath on our own but because Stonehenge was included in this tour, we decided to do it this way. So happy we did! We got so much more out of it thanks to all the information provided by our guide. We appreciated the comfortable bus and the amount of time we were able to spend in both Stonehenge and Bath - it was just enough!

Our tour guide Toby was awesome. Many passengers were late due to the transit strike in London and Toby went above and beyond to try and ensure that everyone was able to make it for the tour. Toby was very helpful and informative during the trip. Going to the Stonehenge then bath was a perfect combination to allow time to explore the beautiful city.

Peter who is our tour guide and loves to be called Peter Pangit is really good in keeping the guest entertained and comfortable during the entire trip. He is kind enough to share what he knows about the history of certain places. He told us where to get some yummy pasties and icecreams. Whenever he is off the mic, he would chat with all the guest on the trip just to make sure we are all having fun and if incase we have questions in mind, he will be able to answer. Kudos to you, Peter and Carlos for making our Stonehenge and Bath tour unforgetable and fun! Hope to be with you guys again on the next tour we'll ever have while we are still exploring UK. God bless you both and keep on entertaining everyone you got to be with on your tour going to stonehenge and bath! They're worth booking for. You'll definitely enjoy your day tour with them.
