Full description

Discover one of the most famous prehistoric monuments in the world on a half-day trip to Stonehenge. Travel to the site from London by air-conditioned vehicle and enjoy views of the English landscape en route. Download an audio guide on your smartphone to use while you explore on your own. Situated on Salisbury Plain in the Wiltshire countryside, the cluster of 40-ton rocks was constructed more than 5,000 years ago.

Although the function of Stonehenge is still a matter of fierce debate, what is known about the UNESCO World Heritage Site is that it has been a site of pagan worship for centuries. Make up your own mind as you uncover the history behind the extraordinary monument. A new world-class visitor center is now a short shuttle bus ride away from the stone circle site and combines cutting-edge audiovisuals with exhibitions of ancient objects.

I recommend to everyone Great trip Nice everything organized. Priced ok too. Our guide Armando was great. He took care of the participants of the trip. He had a lot of knowledge and was able to help and answer every question efficiently. He tried to make everyone feel good and took care of a guide and a souvenir map for everyone in his own language I recommend is worth K.

A bit of challenge finding the pick up point but we looked out for someone with a clipboard so, that helped. Dan, our driver was great. He was funny and informative, and told us of all the steps to take the shuttle to from the visitor center to the actual site. Overall, an enjoyable trip.

I loved this experience. The bus ride was better than I thought it would be. I was picturing a small shuttle bus, but it was essentially a charter bus. Once you get there, the shuttles to the stones were quick and easy. The audio guide was nice and informative and I liked that you could choose the section you wanted to listen to, based on where you were. Stonehenge itself was amazing, of course. The only thing is that we hit traffic on the way back (not the tour’s or driver’s fault) so make sure to leave plenty of time before your next activity, just in case.
