Full description
Explore Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and the Roman Baths on this day trip from London. Have the option to pick a tour to just Stonehenge or to visit all three attractions on this bus tour. Board the bus at a centrally-located meeting point in London. Sit back relax on the drive to Windsor Castle. Uncover over 900 years of royal history in Windsor Castle, which is perched high above the River Thames, just outside of London. Walk through the past residence of William the Conqueror and the current residence of the Queen. See monarchs have left their mark on what is now the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Admire splendor of St. George's chapel and the sumptuous state apartments. Continue to the city of Bath, another world heritage site. Drive through this Georgian city with delightful crescents, terraces, and architecture. Following a panoramic tour of the city, visit Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge, where the river Avon cascades over the dam. Have the option to shop, explore the area, take an afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms while listening to the string quartet, or venture to the Roman Baths that were built nearly 2,000 years ago on Britain's only natural hot water spring. Make your way to Stonehenge, the most famous prehistoric monument in the world. View this World Heritage site which stands alone in a vast, empty tract of Salisbury plain. Its origins date back nearly 5,000 years. Since then, it has become a symbol of paganism, and spiritual worship. Unlock the secrets for yourself and marvel at this mysterious feat of ancient engineering and design. Return to your meeting point at the end of your tour.

While the day was very long and tiring, (Captain) Alan kept us all in good humor with his Dad jokes and informative narrative. A great way to get a snapshot of these places if you are short of time. If you have more time, a half/full day in Windsor and a full day in Bath would be preferable.

The guides did not respect the times stated in the description. Even though the group was always on time and there was no traffic, they gave us very little time at each location. The guide had a lot of information, but he needed to be more dynamic because the way he told everything made it a little boring.

Our tour was amazing! Our guide was very knowledgeable about everything, including the architecture and history. We had a full bus, but our guide was an expert at making sure everyone knew where to go and when. He stayed with us in the line to enter Windsor, and let us know that because of the timing we would have to leave mid changing of the guard to get back in time, we took his advice and no one was left behind. He informed us early on that it was a packed tour with no time for a sit down lunch, so we were able to get take away sandwiches at a coffee shop in Bath. Cute little place right on the bridge. Then we walked around Bath for some time before going to Stonehenge. All along the rout he pointed out interesting things, like homes with thatched roofs and a giant white horse on the side of a hill. We loved the whole trip. PS The morning driver seemed a little break happy.
