Knowledgeable and quirky , I really enjoyed my tour. We chatted so much about everything we saw, it went a bit over time, although she did tell the group in case they needed to go to another tour. So, leave a buffer in your time if you are cramming experiences. This one is delightful and I highly recommend it.

My wife and I agree that the walking tour of Old Louisville was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Kentucky. David is a phenomenal tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about local history and architecture as well as many other topics, (art, food, etc.) David took us to many places that we would not have found on our own and discussed the changes in housing depending on the specific neighborhood and time of construction. David was very patient and thorough in answering questions. Surprisingly, he knew about many of the recent house sales in the area and could tell us about prices, the state of repair of each house, the layout of the interiors, etc. Our tour went longer than planned because of the extensive interaction between David and the clients. Since my wife needs a wheelchair for long distances, we appreciated that the tour is accessible. We highly recommend this tour.

David is awesome. His knowledge is remarkable, noting dates and multiple types of architecture with histories of each neighborhood. The tour was through beautiful areas which were breathtaking. I highly recommend this tour. It is not to be missed if you visit Louisville. A big thumbs up!!
