Amazing singers in a lovely setting. However, unless you are an opera buff be sure to pay the E5 for the lyrics in English or you'll have no idea what is going on as there are no costumes and no explanation of the plots of the different operas, never mind where the individual arias fit in. They don't even sing the best known arias from each opera.

Puccini concerts are a must in Lucca

If you visit Lucca and have some music sensitivity, even without being an opera expert, go to these Puccini Concerts. I went with my husband and both loved it. It is only one hour and is beautiful and fun music. The places are always packed so its better to book in advance. The musical is popular operas, the singers are very high quality and the time is just before going to dinner. It was a great way to finish our day. Dont miss it.
