What people are saying about Lucerne

Overall rating

4.7 / 5

based on 162 reviews

We had a very nice time. Everything was as described. One thing I was confused about was the description said that only paper tickets were accepted. We arrived at the mountain and showed our electronic tickets at the ticket/service office. They in turn handed us 2 paper ticket cards that we used to scan at the various stations throughout the event. Very well organized. Lastly, the boat ride back to Lucerne (25 Euro per person) was very nice but it took over an hour so keep that in mind when planning.

Great way to get to the top of Mt Pilatus and back to Lake Luzern with varied modes of transportation ending in a ferry ride on the lake. All well organised and beautiful views and choice of restaurants at the top. We generally prefer to hike more but had limited time. You can do some hiking at the top and the station below the top where you switch from the gondola to the cable car. All very well organised as you buy just one ticket that is good for all 4 modes of transportation.

Self guided tour gave us the time to do what we wanted with no time limit and just enjoy on our own time. Left around 9am took the bus exchanged our voucher to actual tickets at the ticket office. Boat ride back was relaxing with amazing views. Overall this experience was awesome.

I loved it! It was easy to find all the locations . Only problem was, I couldn’t use my online ticket, that I had in the app. I had to wait in line to exchange for a paper ticket. What’s the point in getting it online? They need to fix this. Otherwise, a fantastic experience.

It was wonderful. Everything was stunning, it was great going at your own pace and I'd recommend it to anyone.
