I thought this trip was well worth the money. The coach bus ride to Interlaken was nice and our tour guide gave a lot of information about the area as we rode. We spent a little time in Grindelwald but decided to take the train to Lauterbrunnen to see the waterfalls. We walked around Interlaken, very cute town with shops and restaurants. It clearly states this is a partially guided tour so I’m not sure why people are surprised by this. The tour guide gives ideas of things to do and directed us after getting off the bus.

The coach provided the transport from Lucerne/Grinderwald/Interlaken/Lucerne and its actually a self guided tour which we preferred to spent time on our own for the resonable price we paid. Lars the tour leader was informative and explained well what to do for those just doing the Interlaken and Grinderwald trip. It was a combined tour for most passengers going to Jungfraujork. Train tickets were provided for us to return back to Interlaken after spending time in Grinderwald on our own which we took the opportunity to have lunch there enjoying the beautiful view of the Jungfrau mountains. Upon arrival at Interlaken, we took the funicular up to Harder Kulm to see the scenic view of Interlaken and the snowy mountains.

It was an amazing trip. Our guide Lars was super informative and helpful. The transportation was well organized. I spent short time in Grindelwald and went to Lauterbrunnen instead of directly to Interlaken. Then i returned to Interlaken. I was late for the meeting time but the crew was kind enough to wait for me. Overall i had an amazing day. I would definitely recommend this.
