Here, your guide will pick up a variety of fresh local fruit for the tour, and you have the opportunity to purchase some local fritters and/or a fresh fruit smoothie. After this stop, follow your guide in your rental car to the majestic El Yunque Rainforest- without a doubt Puerto Rico’s greatest Natural Wonder. It is the only tropical rainforest, the most biologically diverse, and the most studied forest in the US National Forest System. After an interpretive hike through natural trails lined with beautiful flora and fauna, and some river wading, arrive at a hidden gem found in the heart of the rainforest. This breathtaking segment of the 29,000-acre forest is like a natural playground. Here, have the chance to swim in the natural pools, refresh in waterfalls, slide down an exhilarating waterslide, rope swing into the river, jump from different rock formations, and enjoy fresh local fruit with a view. Luquillo: 30-Minute Flyboard Experience

3. Luquillo: 30-Minute Flyboard Experience

Have a 30-minute Flyboard experience off the coast of Luquillo Beach. The Flyboard is a board, much like a snowboard or a wakeboard, connected to a jet ski by a long hose. The rider (flyer) is strapped into boots attached to the Flyboard and is lifted out of the water by water jets on the bottom of the board.   Once you arrive at the beach, you’ll be welcomed and given clear instructions on how to control the board. Head out onto the water and you’ll be coached until you can control the board yourself. While you're up in the air, you can take in beautiful views of the ocean and the bay and fly like Iron Man over the waters on this futuristic, almost-unbelievable board.

My wife & I had an amazing time, we got muddy and wet and loved every minute. Brings some good hiking shoes or good trail runners, they will get muddy but you’ll wash them off before you head to your car. The guides bought some fresh island fruits, which allowed everyone to refuel. The hike is fun, there are some areas where you’ll scramble some rocks but all doable and the guides are there if you need them! A++ to Jessie & Patricia for their love of the rain forest and how committed they are in making sure we were safe and enjoying ourselves. In addition to the amazing hike, we would like to honor the locals that lived at the entrance of the trailhead. They’re doing an amazing job at preserving the land.

What a treat this excursion was! The guides were incredibly knowledgeable about El Yunque and took us on a beautiful hike to two natural pools. For anyone taking this hike, I'd HIGHLY recommend wearing a sturdy pair of hiking shoes. There will be many muddy parts (it's the rainforest!) and there will be ascents/descents that are very slick.

It was beautiful, the hike was pretty easy. Our guides were kind and helpful. The girls made us a beautiful snack of fresh fruit.

It was awesome Both our guides were so nice and made it a lot of fun Have not gotten my photos yet
