Francois made this trip fantastic as our tour guide! It was over 100 degrees and he was constantly making sure we had the best view but were in shade. He was knowledgeable, a good driver, and very funny. He led us through an extremely peaceful and well paced tour of French wine.

This Beaujolais wine tour with a short stop in the stunning town of Oingt (pronounced Wah) was an enjoyable part of a week in Lyon. What was Good: small and friendly group; scenic drive; A/C comfort; wine tasting variety. What could be improved to get an Excellent rating: more commentary during the drive with history and stories about the region; an actual tour of a winery instead of only a seated tasting. Overall recommended for a half-day tour when you are staying in Lyon without a car.

We had a really enjoyable half a day on this tour. The scenery is gorgeous and we tried about six wines, three of them at the vineyard where we got a tour and learned about their wine culture. It was a great experience overall- low stress, high pleasure.
